Reviving This Website with a Fresh Spark#
I’ve always wanted a space where I can freely express myself, share my thoughts with the world, and keep a record for my own reflection. I once had a site, lupuslabs.space, meant for exactly that. But then I got caught up in the idea of turning it into a showcase for my work as an Agile Coach, using it as a marketing tool. Spoiler: that sucked all the joy out of it. So, I’m returning to the original vision—building a quiet little content hub where I can pour out my ideas and see if they resonate with anyone over time. 😉
I’m switching to the Blowfish theme for more flexibility, and I’m loving how intuitive it is to use, especially with its handy CLI. Big change of plans: I’m going all-in on English (scrapping the bilingual German-English setup that initially intrigued me). I’m running my drafts through Grok to polish my personal style into something more universally approachable. Oh, and the new domain? Probably lt42.space. Stay tuned!
Tackling a 12-Week Fitness Transformation#
Growing up in a non-sporty environment, my only real exercise was biking and school PE. Strength training was frowned upon, and that mindset stuck with me for a long time. In 2016–2017, I found the motivation to hit the gym for a year and a half, and I loved it. But moves and a tough battle with depression from 2020–2023 derailed my progress.
In 2024, I jumped back into the gym, and while it was fun at times, it didn’t fully click. Then, I stumbled across YouTube channels by former Navy SEALs and soldiers, which sparked fresh inspiration for my fitness goals. I noticed my immune system wasn’t keeping up with intense training, so I decided to build endurance first with a clear plan:
My Goal: Train at 80% intensity in a dream training week, including:
- 4x circuit training (4 exercises, 4 rounds)
- 1x 5km run
- 1x 10km run
I mapped out a 12-week buildup plan with a gradual intensity curve, starting with a “Week 0” since I began mid-week. Here’s the breakdown:
Week | Intensity 1 | Intensity 2 | Intensity 3 | Intensity 4 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Week 0 | - | - | - | 2/10 |
Weeks 1–4 | 3/10 | 3/10 | 5/10 | 4/10 |
Weeks 5–8 | 6/10 | 5/10 | 7/10 | 1/10 (deload) |
Weeks 9–12 | 7/10 | 6/10 | 8/10 | 1/10 |
I defined what each intensity level means in terms of workouts and effort, scribbled it all on an A4 sheet, and boom—my 12-week plan was born. I’m currently in Week 6, and let me tell you: it’s working like a charm and feels amazing. A full blog post on this is definitely coming soon! 😄
Refreshing My Dating Life#
Dating’s been a recurring theme for me, but recently I’ve had some meaningful (and mixed) experiences. I’ve realized that casual flings don’t do much for me anymore—honestly, they never really did. What I’m craving now is a deeper connection.
Just yesterday, I connected briefly with an attractive Ukrainian woman, but her vibe didn’t click, so I chose to redirect my energy elsewhere. My focus moving forward: explore who’s out there, dive deeper when it feels right, and if there’s real potential, pursue a committed relationship.
In the meantime, I’m embracing the journey. I’ve got this vision of waking up next to a wonderful woman, starting the day with love, or even chilling at my place with a couple of great women to see how that feels. It’s partly about figuring out how I want to live, especially when I find “the one.”
Semen Retention Experiment#
I’m diving into a 30-day semen retention challenge, and I’m documenting every step on this blog. Check out the series for my reflections!
