I’m Lupus, from Dresden, Germany. I write about personal development, fitness, and life’s big questions, blending raw reflections with practical insights. Join me as I explore what it means to live intentionally! 😊

NoFap? Tried it – but honestly, I never stuck with it for long.

In those critical moments, I lacked the grit, and somehow I lost sight of the deeper purpose. Sure, the benefits of sexual energy are tempting – who wouldn’t want to tap into that power? But constantly pressuring and torturing myself? Nah, I’m done with that. I’ve beaten myself up too much in life already, and that “self-punishment” vibe is no longer my thing. Still, the best things in life often don’t come easy, even if they sound super simple in theory:

  • Dream body? Train consistently every week and keep your diet in check.
  • Fulfilling life? Truly feel and “inhabit” your body – which, to be honest, I often find tough.
  • Career success? Know what you really want and stick to it relentlessly.
  • And so on.

That’s why I want to approach Semen Retention differently this time: think it through deeply, make a clear plan, and then give it a go. Week 0 is my prep phase – time to set the stage, gather initial experiences, and document everything. By the way, the experiment already started yesterday, Thursday – hence “Week 0,” because we’re already in the thick of it!

My Goal, Clearly Defined
#

30 days without ejaculation.

Why?

  • I want to explore how it affects my attractiveness (especially to women).
  • I want to feel how my body and mindset change.
  • I want to build more control and power over my decisions.

My Plan – How Am I Doing This?
#

I deliberately said “without ejaculation” because I think it’s nonsense to completely give up physical pleasure. Porn? Total no-go! That makes total sense to me since it often channels energy in the wrong direction.

But: Controlled masturbation – or rather, a kind of “self-love” – can be an awesome way to truly feel my body. I’ve experienced how pleasant and powerful it is to consciously let sexual energy flow through my body without “wasting” it. So, this time, I’m intentionally incorporating it. Will it work? Let’s see if it’s a brilliant idea or a total flop! 😉

My approach in moments of urge: Redirect the energy instead of suppressing it! For example, into:

  • Exercise – hit the gym or go for a run!
  • Projects – channel it into creativity or work.
  • Chores – yup, even that can help!
  • Or, if the urge is overwhelming: Self-love without ejaculation – mindfully and with control.

My Takeaway
#

I’ll use the next few days to dive deeper into the topic and refine my plan. On Monday, I’m kicking off for real – 30 days, let’s do this! I’m excited to see what changes and will document it all. Stay tuned! 😉
